Alright Space Nerds, lets kick this off with the fanciest planet in the area, Saturn!

http://www.space.com/20963-saturn-age-d ... ecret.html

You know how a fine wine gets better with age? Well, planets get oldy, coldy, and moldy. Saturn says "screw that", and is just warm, and bright, and oh so happy to be alive. Well, as alive as space ice and gas n stuff is alive.

Heat moves across Saturn's various layers of gas, but rather than dissipating into space, the layers act as a warm blanket for the ringed planet.

So its like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_blanket

Maybe.

Hey guess what! Congress continues to not give NASA any money and forces US astronauts to keep hitching rides with the Russians until at least 2016! Ugh.

The Obama Administration asked for $850 million and $830 million for the program in its fiscal year 2012 and 2013 federal budget requests, respectively. But Congress eventually approved just $406 million and $489 million.

Look to the skies on May 4-5 and you might see FIRE.

It is called the Eta Aquarid meteor shower and Sunday morning, it should produce 20-40 shooting stars per hour. Check out that link and see when and where you can watch.

YOU GUYS I THINK I HAVE TO GO LAY DOWN BECAUSE SPACE IS SO AWESOME YOU GUYS.

Special Thanks: Ganymede314, space-lady extraordinaire.

Well, Elektronik Supersonik is the greatest thing that has ever happened in space. Ever.
