Is there a mobile version of the site I can use?

With his hand-picked flowers,
And his feel-good powers,
He made all the girls blush and sigh.

The site works fine mobile in my experience, but some people have found more luck with the ProSilver theme. PHPBB has a few templates with which you can play around; none are explicitly mobile, but a forum isn't really something you should be using with mobile anyway because you have to type out responses.

I don't suppose there's a 'ProAlpha' theme you could enable, or anything like that - I mean the inverse of AlphaSilver.

I could get used to the look of Prosilver and it's certainly better in that it's responsive, and I think it has a bit more functionality, but the icons are a complete dealbreaker. I don't know why anyone would have put together an AlphaSilver theme, since it's the worst of both worlds.

I don't necessarily want the Alpha icons, but something that doesn't have different icons that look the same apart from the precise arrangement of the lines of fake text, and icons that are randomly a completely different shape would be nice - the main thing, though, is that animated icon. Isn't there anything with a responsive layout that doesn't randomly start moving and flashing?

Huh. I use Alpha Silver because I like the darker colour scheme better, and the icons are more intuitive to me. Is that weird?

I can't remember what I use. It's probably the default, but maybe not. It looks fine, and I'm actually feeling too lazy to check. I have never tried using the site on a phone before, though. It seems like it would be...inefficient.

I was just thinking the other day how well the site does on mobile. I use the alpha silver because its what I'm used to on the compy *shrugs* I actually have posted a few things from here, including posts with YouTube vids and color changes to the font, with no issue. Though it could be a different experiance on different phones.

A third drawback is that tapatalk seems to be an extension for phpbb 3.1, and upgrading to 3.1 would likely break our existing mods, including the reputation system

I almost exclusively use the site on my phone. Though, it only works because I use dolphin, which seems to be the only android browser I can find that forces text wrapping. It's another simple thing (like the back button) that used to work perfectly, but somehow got broken in the new web.
