What you call guilty pleasure I call REGULAR pleasure

What do you listen to?

I have a dirty secret too. But once in a while I'll let them out of the basement.

But I know what you mean - I don't understand why thing should be guilty pleasures - if I want to listen to the Disney Love Songs CD at my desk then nobody is going to make me feel guilty about it.

I think the problem people have with my tastes is that I used to be a goth and a mosher back in the 2000s and they can't see past this still, so to see a play list with Marilyn Manson followed by Disney Greatest Hits then some Rammstein is confusing for some people.

Stop the presses I even appreciate Lady Gaga

I surprised myself yesterday by blurting out singing Taylor Swift's newish single "Blank Spaces"

I know that if I ever hear that "Boom Clap the sound of my heart" song I always think of you, Rhododendron. Mainly because you made a funny tweet about it once.

I love that song so much.

I don't know why I visit this thread anymore. I need some sort of intervention. I think I really, really like pop songs.

I like boy bands.

Everybody may think that they don't have the Right Stuff and say "Bye, Bye, Bye" as soon as their songs are on the radio, but I'll Bet You if they actually Listen To The Band, they'll find that they can make some of the Best Songs Ever.

I'm not sure if I'd call this a guilty pleasure, but it's absolutely nothing like most of the music I listen to, and it's so damn catchy:

Oh, that flower? In Spanish we just call it Azalea. Make your own joke here.

Azaleas exist here too, but apparently they're not the same thing as rhododendrons (they're related, though).

Hmmm, I wonder if I got them confused, or whoever called it like that here first just decided that azaleas and rhododendrons were "eh, close enough."

Once again, I made the mistake of paying attention to the lyrics of a song that I always assumed was cheesy based on the artist. Dammit, Phil Collins:
