Dammit, if they only stopped branding recipes as "food hacks"...

Hey! I invented that hack! You just hacked my hack! At least I still have my "put milk on cereal" hack!

I'm not the first person to mention this, and I certainly won't be the last, but why in the actual fuck do they need eight pages for these?

I also like how one entry (the McGangBang) was mentioned in a Cracked article a while ago.

(Presumably, the only way to stop a bad guy with a transgender-friendly privacy law is a good guy with a transgender-friendly privacy law, and thus transgender-friendly privacy law rights need to be enshrined in the Constitution as well)

I also like how the McGangBang was mentioned by JamesT on this very forum a while ago too.

I'll just throw out my own personal little food hacks for you all: smear some butter on some toast for an almost instant buttered-toast hack; mix chocolate syrup and milk for a two-step chocolate-milk hack; add chocolate chips to peanut butter cookie dough for a chocolate-chip-peanut-butter-cookie hack; and finally (hold on to your hairpieces for this one), add bacon to a tomato and lettuce salad to create a BLT hack.

Your gratitude for such secret knowledge can be expressed via indication of approval, or a thumb-up...Whoa! indication-of-approval hack!

Huh, they changed "hacks" for "tricks" in the title now.

And here I've been calling the McGangBang a McSurf'n'Turf!

You know, I think I'll stick with my name for it....

Yeah, if you order it as a McGangBang, they won't let you buy Happy Meals.

Oh, looks like Snarky got a bunch of these. Cool cheese.

Not a hack, but an interesting fact: if you like coffee mainly for the caffeine, get a light roast. The less a coffee bean is roasted, the more caffeine it retains. Which makes sense when you think about it.

Also, with regards to marinating your meats, pineapple juice does work but papaya juice tenderizes even more. The stuff that does it is dried and sold in commercial meat tenderizer seasoning, which you can use to treat mosquito bites! Make a paste with the seasoning and a little water and rub it on the bites. The papain draws out the irritants.

Finally, if you want your meat so tender that it's a little weird, coat it in baking soda. I personally think this is a terrible idea though. Other substances that might leave your meat a little weird include Apple cider vinegar and prune juice.

How's a Mcgangbang surf'n'turf? Isn't it beefburger and chicken? Where's the surf?

Yeah, a surf and turf ought to be a Filet O Fish wedged between the two halves of the double cheeseburger.

Oh...right. Yeah, I read the descriptions of stuff and totally didn't miss the fact that it was chicken in there instead of a Filet O' Fish.

What would I call the McGangBang now? I'd call it the McBarnyard Special.
