Literally more than half of the people I've met today have opened the conversation with some variation on: "Did you realise the Royal Wedding was today? Because I didn't."

Last night my mom told me that she believes that Blackberry phones were invented for the Clintons, and they can put out a frequency that makes people kill themselves.

If the thing you're saying ticks a box on the DSM checklist for paranoid schizophrenia, maybe it's better to keep it to yourself.

Mom was nagging me for a grandchild.

I told her that if she keeps nagging, I'm getting her a grandkitten.

She kept nagging.

I'm going to the shelter tomorrow.

How about getting her a grandpuppy? Regardless be sure to get us pictures of the fluffy thing.

Have it spayed or neutered. You don't want her to be a Great Grandmeow too soon.

I was at the pet shop to ask when they're holding adoptions, and they had this little mutt, a by over two weeks old, nearly full white with huuuuuuge paws. I got to hold him and he melted my cold dark heart. I nearly shed a tear when I had to let him go, but he was surely going to get biiiiiiig and I live in a small apartment.

They're holding adoptions at the 5th next month so I have until them to make my house cat ready. Which includes getting a decent camera.

Does she know Obama had a Blackberry before he became president?
Ask her why Hillary didn't use the kill frequency on him when he beat her in the 2008 primaries.

Too obvious, even for the Clinton's. Plus she couldn't have beaten McCain. You can read all about it in the diary I pickpocketed from an interdimensional being.

Yesterday on my way home from Ohio, I stopped in at the National Air Force Museum, thinking I'd maybe spend an hour or two there (spoiler, I was wrong). I spent close to 3 hours there, and only left because it was closing (I also had 9 hours of driving ahead of me, but that's not important). I could have easily spent 6 hours there, but at least I can look through the pictures I took! I put a selection of those pictures into a gallery on Imgur and hit the Front Page which is nice.

I've been watching Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and there's a wedding with a song that sounds tune-wise a lot like "As Good As It Gets" from Galavant.

This has lead me to a decision.
If I ever am in the position to get married, most of the wedding playlist will be humorous songs like this.
If my hypothetical wife isn't OK with that, then clearly she's not worth marrying after all.

I got an impromptu first-hand lesson on how my water heater works.

We woke up to find it spraying water from one of the hoses, which is like any homeowner's worst nightmare.

I figured out how to turn off the water, and I went to Lowe's and bought a replacement hose. I replaced it, and now I feel like a real adult.

In response to the General Data Protection Regulation, I called my Senators and Representative to ask them expand the SPEECH Act to say that any foreign judgment based on a foreign law which is in violation of the First Amendment is not enforceable in US courts. I've also called my senators and representatives about stuff in Massachusetts, plus the Speaker of the House at the time (Dennis Hastert), which means I've called the offices of at least seven different congresspeople.

All of them are very businesslike and straightforward except one. No prizes for guessing that the exception is Ted Cruz. It plays a recording from him talking about how proud he is to serve Texas in the Senate before you get to the menu options. Shut up, Ted; I just want to rant at your answering machine!

Trump just met Kim in the Oval Office!

Spoiler: show

She was there to talk about prison reform. It's not clear to me why her opinion on that is so important that the president has to hear it.
