Fibonnaci?

It's not Fibonnaci (Fibonacci starts with 1) but it's more or less the same principle, as Grim said.

What's the quiz, Jim?

In Rebuild of Evangelion 3.33, its pointed out that various characters could've avoided trouble, or been more successful in their plans, if they simply talked to Shinji. This is usually thought of as a flaw or a sign of bad writing, but (and, this is rare, but I might be on to something) what if that was part of the point of the movie?

I hope red tailed hawks receive royalties for the use of their calls in place of other raptors' in tv, radio, and film.

Y'all remember when some Minnesota dentist shot Cecil the Lion and the internet lost its shit?

It just occurred to me that my dentist in Massachusetts is basically the opposite of that.

This is the trophy which Dr. Klepacki proudly displays on his IRL wall

If someone who's been in a coma since the Cold War woke up now to find out Russia is USA's biggest ally, do you think they'd believe it's because of Rocky IV?

I was a crisis actor once.

Nowadays, when you meet this term, it usually used by conspiracy theorists after a mass shooting. But I looked it up on Wikipedia, and it says that a crisis actor is "a trained actor, role player, volunteer, or other person engaged to portray a disaster victim during emergency drills to train first responders such as police, firefighters or EMT personnel." Well, I did that once; my high school class was used for a plane crash drill. We were taken to an airfield, they put fake wounds on some of us, we went into an airplane, and then EMT guys carried us out. They put me in ambulance car, because I had a fake wound on me. It was kind of fun. Better than a day in school for sure.

How do soap operas stay on the air for decades, when other shows get around ten years at the most?

(Presumably, the only way to stop a bad guy with a transgender-friendly privacy law is a good guy with a transgender-friendly privacy law, and thus transgender-friendly privacy law rights need to be enshrined in the Constitution as well)

Other shows are typically in primetime. Soap operas air in the daytime, where the competition is reruns, game shows, other soap operas, and infomercials.
