Controversial opinions you hold

Discussion, in general

I hate spaghetti and my family gives me an endless amount of shit for it. I'm okay with noodles other than angel hair, but the simple formula of 'noodle + meat + tomato sauce' has never done it for me in general.

Have you tried making it all from scratch?

I've heard of a theory, related to the "Out of Africa" theory, that the Homo Sapien groups that left africa tended to have gene markers for ADD.

I'm just saying, if you were well adapted to warm weather valley conditions and most of your physiology and psychology revolved around that, and you suddenly thought "I wanna live in a waaaay freezing less sunny place where I have to use more energy to find food that isn't available all year long, in rather stark contrast to the adaptations I was born with for the environment I developed in!" Perhaps a visit to the shaman is in order, because thats insanity.

You're not alone in that opinion. There's even a blog on it.

If I'm making it from scratch I would honestly prefer to put the effort in making literally anything else.

Spaghetti are garbage and so is your family.

After skimming this blog, I've been forced to conclude that I am not white.

Yes, and they've been consistently beating iOS at it.

Homo Sapien woman: You can't go to the Northern Ice-lands! That would be insanity! Besides, you know what the Magi says of... (hushed, embarrassed) The Mixing of the Peop-

Other Human Woman: (derisively) She's just doing this because she's interested in those Bar-Browed folk.

Apparent mother of White people: Okay, you what? FINE! I don't care anymore! Y-you wanna know the truth? I want a Bar-Browed man to make Bar-Browed babies! You like that? Ever thought of that? Huh?!? I wanna go North, march through mountains of ice, rock, and snow, find a Bar-Browed village and RIDE. BAR-BROWED. C**K!

Woman #2: Ugh! How repul-!

AMWP: YEAH! And I want you to watch me, B***h! You wanna know Why? Cause F**K this place! F**k the sun! F**k the hunts! F**k the fruit trees! F**k the wiiiide-open fields! F**k the Shaman! And f**k YOU!

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri is incomplete trash and the director/writer should feel ashamed for wasting some great performances.

Specifically:
Spoiler: show
So they're just unsure of what they're going to do next and the movie ends. No resolution. No payoff. No true ending. Asshole who I spent half the movie accusing of being involved with the crime the story is framed on ends up redeeming himself because the police chief felt he had good in his heart and could get that big promotion to detective one day if he stopped being an asshole. That's it? C'mon man.

At least Lady Bird's (who I can compare because of the one kid that was in both movies, how paid is he?) ending had an epiphany of love and understanding by the main character that justified telling the story. What is the point of three billboards that never brought anyone to justice but did cause a bunch of violence to occur yet still uh we're not sure if they're going to go kill Idaho-Man?

Easily the most disappointing movie of 2017 I've seen. Excellent acting but someone needs to write an ending. Also I can't get over the note "Sorry, I got arrested" left on the gift shop door. How does someone get locked up but still be able to leave a note saying it. These cops, who the audience is told are hateful towards black people, lets one leave a note behind during an arrest? I can't see that happening.

I don't like Queen at all.

Forrest Gump is a terrible movie and offensive to disabled people.

The Big Lebowski is boring and pretentious people like it.

I know I made a thread for this when I was new here, but in light of Tess's post I need to say it again.

The only part of 2001: A Space Odyssey worth watching is the segment of HAL.

The Graduate is terrible, self-indulgent trash. It's the Baby Boomers in movie form.

I haven't watched Forrest Gump in years but if I'm remembering correctly it was like 1 part an outlandish tale and 1 part about a mentally disabled person with a good heart who over the course of the film struggled with his disability, grew as a person, and improved the lives of virtually everyone he met.
