In the USA, those funny looking cucumbers in the plastic wrap are "English cucumbers". In Australia (and presumably the UK) they are "Lebanese cucumbers". I wonder what they call them in Lebanon.

You say "New World Order" "communist echo chamber" like it's a bad thing.

I googled them and I'm 99% sure those are what we call "cucumbers". Your cucumbers are funny-looking.

Hey girl, wanna check if my cucumber looks funny? ;)

Oh is that offensive? But I think it's funny! I guess I'm kinda in a pickle now!

HEB carries four brands of beef jerky in quantities larger than 4.25 oz. One is Jack Links, based in Wisconsin, which barely qualifies as beef jerky. The other three (all good to varying degrees) are based in Washington or Oregon: Tilamook Country Smoker, Old Trapper, and Cattleman's Cut.

Why doesn't anyone in Texas offer Texas-sized quantities of beef jerky? Or if they do, why doesn't HEB carry them?

Why do websites allow their advertisers to put scripts in their ads? Doing this presents two major drawbacks for the website owner:

1. It means that if scripts from the advertising network are blocked, ads don't show up. I use NoScript and enable most websites and their CDNs when visiting them, but I will never enable scripts for ad networks because...

2. It allows advertisers to engage in behaviors that ranges from merely obnoxious (rollovers that expand to fill the screen and autoplaying videos) to downright malicious, and these things may encourage users to block ads entirely.

I mean, I assume that websites allow it because advertisers demand it, but I cannot see why an advertiser would need scripts unless they're trying to be obtrusive or malicious, especially not with HTML5.

If the guys from TES Renewal were somehow able port Daggerfall to the Skyrim engine, would they call it "Skyfall"?

I feel like Daggerrim would be snappier.

Why is every single video on YouTube of someone's pet rats produced by a woman? I've seen some pets that seem to be biased one way or the other (most sugar glider and parrot videos are women, most reptile and ferret videos are men), but I've watched probably two dozen different rat videos, and every single one has been made by a woman. Do men not keep pet rats?

What does it mean to "feel like a room without a roof," exactly? And how would that be conducive to clapping?

(Presumably, the only way to stop a bad guy with a transgender-friendly privacy law is a good guy with a transgender-friendly privacy law, and thus transgender-friendly privacy law rights need to be enshrined in the Constitution as well)
