I can draft at any time tomorrow and would prefer before 3 pm or after 7 pm every day afterwards. :D

The draft was over quite quickly. Insert joke about bad sex here.

The complete roster is here, for those interested: http://games.espn.com/ffl/leaguerosters?leagueId=46322

The list of team names is thus:

It's Never Sunny in Philly
Kansas City Amish Avengers
Madrid Nudgers
Intense Apathy
Diamond City Demolishers
Washington Reavers
Florida Alzheimers
Intentional Grounders

I could list who is who, but I'll let you all just figure it out. More fun that way.

The kickoff of the season is Thursday, September 7th.

May the odds be ever in your favor.

Except you, Maple, you may wanna put a different Tight End in this week.

I was embarrassingly close to drafting Chris Johnson. Who retired last year (BUT HE WAS STILL ON THE LIST!). I have high hopes for my team!

Yeah I saw "RB Johnson - Arizona" on waivers and was like

Then I saw it was Chris, not David. And I was like oh no I'm not falling for that again. ESPN are dicks. When was the last time an offensive position player unretired during a season? Well it appears that question was too specific for google so idk for sure but based on my memory I'm going to say not since Fantasy Football became a thing. I'm not even sure its allowed.

If anyone else had problems with the ESPN Fantasy Sports app today, you were not alone.

GAME NOTICE:
We apologize for the outage that occurred in fantasy football on Sunday. All services have been restored and stats and game matchups for Week 1 are current and correct. If your lineups were affected by the outage, your League Manager can adjust them retroactively.

The type of handle ESPN has on their game:

And week one is over. Like, it ended on Monday but fuck your timetables.

Standings:
http://games.espn.com/ffl/standings?lea ... sonId=2016

In the Necromancers, the current leaders are myself and the diamond city demolishers.

In the Paladins, the current leaders are Mr. Glasses and the Washington Reavers.

If you'd like to see the scoreboard: http://games.espn.com/ffl/scoreboard?le ... PeriodId=1

The closest game was the Reavers vs the Nudgers. It was only a 4 point difference. WOW.

If you need waiver picks, get them in by the end of today people.

Congrats to Tom on his victory this week. Damn that was a nail biter. For those who weren't following along, I had the last player to go, with Aaron Rogers against the Vikings, who's defense did a damn good job shutting him down. But in the 4th quarter he managed to get enough passing yards for me to sneak ahead by one point. Feeling good, I nonetheless knew it wasn't over until the fat lady sang. Sure enough, an interception was thrown with 2 minutes or so left. And to add insult to injury, a pass interference penalty lets the Vikings run down the clock and prevents a Hail Mary that could have tied it up or won the game for me.

Swear words were uttered at TV screens, but a good time was had by all. Thanks for the reminder how much fun this stuff is.
