I liked this one, I think each entry is pretty solid. I think the ropiest one was the one about It's a Wonderful Life merely because it kind of reaches a little into the future to justify why it's horrifying rather than showing something within the movie itself like the others. But I wouldn't classify that as more than a nitpick. I think the order of them is pretty well chosen as well, I do think the Santa Clause is probably the scariest one out of the bunch and it's nice to see an article not blow its load on entries 5 and 4.

Overall, enjoyable!

I actually think the 'Wonderful Life' one completely fell apart.

Yes the manufacturing industry will collapse eventually, but that'll be decades from the present time of the film.

Furthermore, the article says: "Things might be better for the entire region in the long run if he told Clarence to buzz off and jumped into the goddamned river." But as a commenter pointed out, Pottersville isn't what would happen if George killed himself; it's what would happen if he'd never been born. The manufacturing industry is already there, and it's not going to disappear because of George killing himself.

As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darkness of mere being.

I've gotten to the point on Cracked where Dalek's articles are pretty much the only ones I look forward to. There are others that are sometimes interesting but not as consistently as AD's.

I liked the article. The bit on the origins of caroling actually would make me want to revive some of the old traditions.
