Yeah, I think the published version took a lot of the punch out of your abilify entry.

Any anti-psychotic has the potential to cause akasthisia. However, abilify I have never EVER seen to be effective treating psychiatric patients. Risperdal I've seen work miracles (with adults).

I'm not sure if this is a side effect, but, ever since I started taking my current anti depressant, I've been having very bright, vivid dreams I can usually remember when I wake up.

So that's why I can't stop dancing!

No, really. I got that A-k disease thing. It's only a problem if you don't concentrate on keeping still which in itself is tiring.

Those aren't dreams and I keep telling you to stop lighting flares in my solarium.

Re: the osteoporosis section

I was at the doctor's one time talking about blood test results. He said that all my various levels looked fine, but my calcium level was on the high end of normal. I responded by saying it was odd because I didn't eat or drink many dairy products, but it must mean I have really strong bones. He told me it was actually the opposite because the calcium had to be coming from somewhere and it was probably being leeched from my bones.

This doesn't have anything to do with the article (read the paper, still not sure what was happening to these people), but I figured I'd share. Also, the human body is weird and counter-intuitive.

High calcium levels can indicate cancer as well sometimes.

The difference between milk and other calorie containing beverages is that if you're lactose-tolerant, milk solidifies in your stomach and does actually make you feel full.

We are almost the only species that domesticates other animals consume something they produce (the only other I know of is ants that farm aphids for the excess sugar they excrete), but we're also the only animal that does a lot of things, like cook food and wear clothes. We've evolved since we learned to do all those things.

Yes, there's a lot of lactose intolerant people, but lactose tolerance in different ethnic groups correlates really, really well with how long ago those groups domesticated cattle. If you're of European descent, at any rate, drinking milk is an evolutionary trait.
