Hey don't look at me. I only lamented my lack of pop culture knowledge, made a reference to yesterday's article, and continued our running gag where we give an example for the articles premise from a fictional anal porn film.

I thought I was above that, but clearly i just needed one that spoke to me.

Hey, I like Luke McKinney. I think I'm the sole Luke fancluber here at TCS. I welcome your future social justice articles.

Oh, see I thought this one was kinda funny. Maybe it's just my preference for foreshadowing in TV shows because it makes them rewatchable, but I found these all solid examples of foreshadowing and they were presented in an entertaining way. Maybe I'm just not a super fanboiiii of the shows presented so I'm okay with knowing twists and okay with less than glowing reviews of TV shows, but it struck me as humour rather than snark.

I liked it +1

The article wasn't bad, but why True Detective, House of Cards, Walking Dead, and Game of Thrones again. There are so many good shows out there, but these are all anyone ever talks about.

An eighth to a quarter of the USA watches NCIS. Supernatural is one of the biggest cult hits ever. House of Lies is better than House of Cards in every way. Night Shift is the best medical drama on tv. It would be nice if the writers would expand their horizons a bit farther than the same four, endlessly repeated shows.

I haven't seen most of these, apart from a couple of episodes of Walking Dead, but I'm one of those odd ducks who likes (and indeed actively seeks out) spoilers, so I love this kind of article.

I actually took a look at it, which I've only done once since leaving Cracked. Not a bad article. I really don't see what everyone is upset about.

The commenting community did seem to be on a general decline around the time I left. Too many veterans leaving for this utopia of dick jokes, and too many new users coming in through the social justice clickbait articles without a developed sense of humor. That might be why you're getting a lot of negativity.

Part of it is that the writing (which i'm not blaming you for, Dalek, because of editing) seemed a bit pretentious and condescending when talking about True Detective. I liked the article, though. This is why I still go to Cracked: they surprise me a lot.
