"She's no weakling, and she has Hecate. We need to have faith in her and move on. We will be of no use to her or the villagers if we get ourselves lost. We should tell Sir Wulfram to keep an eye out and go to the hamlet he told us about. We may understand the wolf-knight better there. Your thoughts?"

Rosamund's squire is sent back to the hunting lodge to inform Sir Wulfram of the situation. Without her knight she will stay there so that the party is not burdened with extra horses and not enough hands.
About an hour out they approach the side track that leads up to the hamlet where they encounter a pilgrim.
He is resting on a fallen log by the wayside when he looks up at the sound of approaching horses. He responds by taking up his walking stick and satchel and knuckling his brow.
With a tug of a forelock he gives an unpracticed bow and calls out.
"Good sirs, might ypu spare alms for a pilgrim on the road to Liege?"
You are free to give as much or little as you like. If you give nothing you check selfish. If you give a solidus you can roll generous. If you succeed it gets a check.
