I just think dismissing it out of hand neglects the fact that all medicine is alternative medicine until clinical trials establish and a board of doctors certify it as... um, "real" medicine I guess.

Okay I'm not that shallow, I think that homeopathic medicine is a real danger, and it's sad how many people buy into complete crap. It's even more sad that there's not a lot you can say to persuade them otherwise.
