Oh, I know the answer to that question. The text of the Bible is never altered. However, there are "Study Bibles" which are basically bibles + Notes and discussion either in the margins or at the bottoms of the page, with a few "In-Depth" pages on certain subjects, or with illustrations, every once in a while. So, with the "Bible for Boys" it's just that model, with some pages and details and notes meant to give advice or examples to young men.
I feel that I want to use this as a reaction image. To what, I have no idea.
