I'm both intensely curious as to how this could have possibly happened and pretty sure I don't want to know.

(Pleural fluid is the fluid between the serous membranes around the outside of your lungs. Key word: "outside", so the patient somehow getting semen in their lungs only explains how it got to the general area. Though, I guess that might have something to do with why they're in the hospital in the first place)

Patient probably had a perforation of the lungs while performing oral sex. s/he probably also choked a bit, with the semen going down the wrong airway. Bam! Semen outside the lungs.

That's very clearly a greentext retelling of this song:

Meh. That's just your average Fire Emblem playthrough right there.

I can imagine them sending the poor Jawa's to the gas chambers as we speak.

So a writer I follow on Twitter brought up a minor scandal that happened last year when a Canadian writer published a column about how she'd attended a party and, uh, attempted to covertly breastfeed a stranger's baby.

Also, the stranger, as it turns out, is a major Canadian politician, so that's fun.

...yeah,

What always gets me about these sorts of op-eds isn't so much that the writer did a weird thing. It's that the writer did a weird thing, and then decided "I am okay with writing about this, and then publishing it for the entire world to see -- a world which includes my parents, siblings, past and future romantic partners, friends, friends' parents, extended relatives, and all of my future bosses, who will presumably Google me before considering me for a job."

It's almost as if there's a difference between feeding your friend's kids with their consent and trying to feed (which you well knew was not possible for you at that time) a stranger's baby

"C'mon lady," said his eyes.
