Yeah, I chose to know things like why people don't always act like perfect robots and sometimes make mistakes. Or were let down by systems beyond their control, or just didn't care to learn it. It's not like knowing the technical words for sexuality is the most important thing in the world so I don't think it's too outlandish for someone to make a mistake like that when the setup is a bit confusing to begin with.
I'm sorry but if you've gotten past 6th grade, in America at least, you should know those terms.
