Adrenaline increase along with being ready for erm uh tah eh exercise is what I'm going to say. I'm sure there might be some science behind that. :? But that's my answer.

Probably that, endorphins, and a whole bunch of other chemicals that generally make you feel good.

(Presumably, the only way to stop a bad guy with a transgender-friendly privacy law is a good guy with a transgender-friendly privacy law, and thus transgender-friendly privacy law rights need to be enshrined in the Constitution as well)

That and the crack cocaine rushing through your system.

Oh, that's not an aphrodisiac?

I read recently a claim that the sexual organs are independent of the spine, meaning paraplegics and quadriplegics can still make the beast with two backs. Support for this is the fact that Steven Hawking had three children after he was wheelchair bound.

Naturally I was skeptical, so I googled it, and found information on experimental spinal implants that let people have control over sexual and eliminatory functions again, which suggests that, indeed, the sexual functions connect with the brain via the spine.

Which leaves the glaring question: How did Steven Hawking father children after he became crippled?

Hawking has ALS, which does not affect the spine. And yes, the genitals are dependent on the spine to function, however, their are some injections that are able to give clients an erection although the amount of sense they have varies. Some are still able to feel their genitalia even when they cannot walk. Others cannot. If you want to know more:

Also, in theory, even if you are unable to control bladder/bowel or obtain an erection, sperm could still be surgically removed for use in fertility treatments.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Stephen Hawking's condition, only affects the voluntary motor functions. Sexual arousal is part of the autonomic nervous system, which is not affected.

You know, now I'm imagining Steven Hawking getting a dance "jackie brown style".

So as someone who doesn't have retractable genitals, I have to ask those who do...

Do you feel it when it grows or shrinks based on temperature and stuff? Or does it just kinda do its thing and you don't really notice?

I can say I have noticed it at times. Its very odd feeling.

Edit: to elaborate a bit. It's mainly noticeable when it shrinks. Going back to normal size I never notice other than (everything feels normal).

It feels a bit like an erection, imo at least, just without it ramming into your clothes trying to get out.

I love that word, "retractable".

I feel that sort of thing all the time, maybe not the moving part itself but any furniture it knocks to the ground as it is moving.

Wow we're total opposites aren't we? And not just in our politics, our views on dogs, and the hemispheres we occupy.

Much TMI
