Guess that Film

Postby CarrieVS » Wed Jan 21, 2015 7:26 pm

I got this idea from a thread on the DailyWTF forums.

What you do is you take a film title - preferably not too obscure - and make it unrecognisable. Generally by picking the most exotic synonym you can out of the thesaurus for each important word, and it doesn't have to be the same sense of the word either. But some were more cryptic.

Then the next person has to guess the original film.

One more thing... the thread could get a bit confused between people posting questions, answers, and whether or not the answers were right, so shall we say don't always be posting to confirm a person got it right, just thumb them up. If you're not replying to the post directly above you, probably best to quote.

Shall I go first?

It's always in the last place you look for it, unless you're the kind of person who keeps looking for it after you've found it.
