Told the guy, i told him, let's see who's laughing now that the glove's on the other foot, and he's all, dude, go home, but who's going to fill the boot? I mean, let's all go ahead and maypole and prevaricate about the bush all we want, but in the end of it all, one of us is going to have to face down and knuckle all these little people, right? I mean the fairies, right, not like the little-people little people, because I'm not some kind of, like, midgetist or whatever. But someone's gotta, you know, get these fairies in hand and, like, take care of them...

My keyboard feels like cinnamon tastes. (I may be in the wrong thread.)

It's always in the last place you look for it, unless you're the kind of person who keeps looking for it after you've found it.

My wife is at a bachelorette party, my daughter is with my family-in-law, and I am EXTREMELY drunk home alone at 6:18PM and listening to the Song of Durin on repeat.

SandTea, I'm gonna be real. I was gonna stop drinking since I was *a reasonable amount* deep, but literally as soon as I heard the first bar of that song I slid down the stairs and got two more beers. I go out a fair amount, but I gotta say drinking alone to LOTR music is SUPER underrated.

*It was not a reasonable amount

I have discovered the wonders and greatly underestimated the effects of Aperol. That's some good shit.

Instant apple cider with powdered ginger and apple pucker. It's marginally better than it sounds.

I was really rude T Marc and Tess a few months ago and I wanted to apologise for a long time but I was too much of a coward and I just have to be right all the time which seems stupid because I don't really know anyone here on any sort of personal level (which is my fault, I make no effort) but this site really became important to me and I find it really hard to connect with people in real life so I just want to say I'm sorry

Hard cider is awesome. Yet another reason Prohibition was a bad idea...

I’m at my cousin’s down the shore for the weekend, and we got a handle of coconut rum for pretty cheap. One of her neighbors just asked me if I was old enough to drink yet. I’ve noticed that people tend to think I look a lot younger than I am.

We’re having a party at home with some relatives, neighbors, and other people (about 30 in all). I’ve found that blueberry ale is surprisingly good.

rather than a new one. Any drinking song recommendations? or, what is your go to 'i'm drunk we have to play this'. song?

And coconut rum is usually less alcohol than reg rum. there's been a "sale" on it here forever making it like 3 bucks cheaper than the cheap rum that technically has twice the potency. just a heads up. I still bought the coconut for a while knowing this anyway.

But yeah, what's yalls go to for being that level drunk where ya just gotta? I got a few so I'll go first!
"fuck you, I'm drunk"

"philosophers drinking song"

"ninja rap"

*cracks knuckles*

The Irish Rovers - “Whiskey on a Sunday”

Jimmy Buffet - “Margaritaville”

(This is ironic because I don’t like whiskey or margaritas.)

For more of a partying song, there’s Mac Lethal’s “Pound That Beer”:

Frank Crumit - “Show Me the Way to Go Home”

I don’t actually listen to that last one very much... there’s a bit of a story there...
