Skyrim, the game is fairly simple to understand. As stated before, at the start you will be assigned to one of the three teams. If you are on either Orange's or Phighter's team, then you will know everyone that is on your team. Your team will also (if they're smart) set up a private message chain so that you can coordinate who to kill at night and who to vote to lynch during the day. If you are on team Tortuga, you have no idea who is on what team, and the game turns much more into "hysterical hearsay" than "cold calculation."
There are two phases: Night and Day
During the night phases, one of the pirate teams will vote who to kill in the night. Also, those people who have powers that work in the night (the Converter and Scanner) will send a PM to Orange and Phighter telling them what you want to do. Once the night orders are sent in, the GMs will make a write up where what happended that night will be detailed. It will then shift to the day phase.
During the day, the people of the town will vote who to lynch. Generally, votes to lynch have been in
red and vote retractions have been in some other color. At the lynching, you can vote to lynch anyone and everyone. After a length of time, the GMs will shut down the voting and do a write up stating who was lynched. It then shifts to the night phase. The process repeats itself until the ending condition is met (in this case, until there is only one team left).
I hope this helped. I recommend looking
here and
here to see how the game looks in action.
Please, don't be afraid to join up. The more the merrier.
