Yeah, that's the problem though... he was basically forced to retire, which isn't that much of a punishment when you're almost 76. Same with Mugabe, except he's even older - after he was forced out, he was given a house, up to 23 staff members, and personal vehicles. So the lesson still seems to be that corruption is worth it...

I hope Ramaphosa will do a better job at least.

Update: Zuma has been charged with 16 counts of corruption, racketeering, fraud and money laundering and made his first appearance before court today. I know that there were many charges before that went to nowhere, but he isn't president anymore. Maybe he won't get away with it after all?
