Privatizing everything would turn the world into a dystopia so fast.

Faster than it's already becoming.

Everything would be the same ugly townhouses and strip malls and chain stores you're already starting to see everywhere.

There would be no culture to be found anywhere. Every road would run together and nothing would be any different than anywhere else you go.

Sorry, I'm lost. Long-winded screeds by libertarians arguing sex with pre-teens it totes legit: that's common enough to be a meme?

I think it's just a humorous way of saying libertarians are complete losers who watch anime and get defensive on the internet about fucked up stuff.

The point isn't really that he's arguing about pedophilia, but that he's long winded and annoying. As well as being creepy. Hence why it's cut off.

Also, libertarians want everything to be legal, including pedophilia. Duh.

Interestingly enough, none of my libertarian friends watch anime and in fact have vocally disliked my like of it and none of my anime friends are libertarian.

38. Apparently, my libertarian cred is obvious and I'm just going to get more radical as I go on. I didn't even oppose welfare, guys, what kind of self-respecting libertarian am I?

Has anyone else noticed that younger users seem to be scoring lower than older users? The author might not be wrong O.o

Or maybe you older folk are just a bunch of them types that think restriction or regulation of any kind is a half step away from jackboots and lizard people.

Look, if I want to produce my own brand of candy with lead-based food coloring in my cat-infested kitchen using plastic pellets I imported from China while paying child laborers 5 cents per hour plus all the candy they can eat, the only thing stopping me should be the free market, not some corrupt little politician downtown who is stealing my hard-earned wages to pay for things like "food" and "medicine" for poor people. If those disabled people want to live so badly, they should have thought about that before getting themselves stuck in wheelchairs.

What is this country coming to.

ETA: Malfeasinator, I'm ignoring your data point because I really want to fit this into the narrative.

I was Google Image searching myself for JamishT's thread and I found this one again thanks to Czar's meme.

I don't remember changing any of my political positions, however I now score a 51 (up from 37), which takes me to the next level, literally.

31-50 points: Your libertarian credentials are obvious. Doubtlessly you will become more extreme as time goes on.

51-90 points: You are a medium-core libertarian, probably self-consciously so. Your friends probably encourage you to quit talking about your views so much.

So either I've become more hostile towards the government in the abstract in the wake of the last election (and thus become more willing to answer non-policy questions with generalizations), or else the test was right about me becoming more hardline with time.
