A private primary school in Seattle has begun using facial recognition tracking as a means to allow parents entry into the school. Parents have to register and around 300 already have. The children are not part of the facial tracking.
My take on this is that we're so sad and lazy as humans that we can't even use human eyes to see who's at the door.
The door that keeps random people from a few hundred children. M'kay.
And since the only condition for unlocking the door is to have the correct face... what if that person is openly carrying an assault rifle?
On the other hand they won't be able to blame the school secretary for unauthorized entry.
The school is just like the iphone x. You unlock it with your face. Ohhh. What if someone has an evil twin? :o
