Favoriting Posts

Postby Gendry » Wed Aug 26, 2015 6:29 am

Would it be possible, given the site's structure/coding, to "favorite" a post in some way? I'm asking because there are some posts (i.e. Askias's PSTN's Adblocker opus) that I really, really liked and would like to be able to have access to them without having to remember the exact thread every time.

Edited because I'm dumb and can't attribute the right things to the right people.

I can't answer on the coding part, as I don't handle that, but I'll offer a few workarounds in the meantime.

At the bottom of the page for a thread, you can click "Bookmark topic" to save the thread to your bookmarks, which you can access in the UCP.

Th other option is to click the subject line for the specific post (like you would do when you link to a certain post), and bookmark it in your browser normally.

Just do what I do and print them all out and plaster them around your domicile.

If there be here lesson or moral, it lies beyond the competence of him who wrote this post.

Sure, but that would mean everyone would have 2782 more bookmarks of my comments to wade through to get to links on (heaven forbid) other websites. Seems like a bit of a hassle.

Ah. Whoops. You both have such a propensity for producing well-written, in-depth, informative, and unbiased posts that I get confused sometimes.

So I wasn't just supposed to print out Gendry's picture and plaster it all over?

I mean really, have we ever seen both of them in the same room?
