Polls

Got a problem? We may be able to fix it for you. Talk to us dammit.

What should be the maximum number of selections in a poll?

The current limit of 10 is fine. If you need more than that, there's something wrong with you.

The limit should be only 5. Giving more than that just encourages silly selections.

The current limit should be at least 15. This is the modern world. When are 10 choices ever enough? That's like binary 2, and that can't be good.

The current limit should be at least 20. No one will ever read more than that.

The current limit should be 100. It's unlikely anyone will ever need more than that, even in this, the 21st century. Also, it only requires adding a zero on to the end of 10. How hard can that be?

The software only supports 10 selections, so 10 is all you're going to get.

The software supports more than 10 selections, but it requires massive, complicated changes that could fundamentally alter how TCS operates. Suppose it destroys TCS? Would you want that on your conscious?

Polls

I love creating polls! Too much? Possibly. Polls are limited to 10 selections, but sometimes I want even more (always wanting more). Could it be increased, or is it a BBCode / database limit?

Man created logic and because of that was superior to it. Logic He gave unto me, but no more. The tool does not describe the designer. More than this I do not choose to say. More than this you have no need to know.

What a fantastic idea! I've edited the original message to do just that.

I've made TWO polls today. Mmmm.

I was going to say that there should be an unlimited amount, because why not? But if the software supports ten it supports ten. Not worth developer time.
