Oh, awesome. I have an old dollhouse I want to refurbish and make tiny little adorable things for. I like you. I'm going to keep you.

I decided to draw Groot and Rocket with their own Iron Man armor.

Apparently Stark likes wasting obscene amounts of money.

Here's a drawing of Groot I started before I moved earlier this year.

Need to find it so I can finish it.

And lastly, a drawing of Rocket - my first time drawing him, made the evening after seeing GotG for the first time in the theater.

You're really very talented. Do you draw your own characters as well?

Not in quite some time.

I suppose I should do more of that.

Wow, Recluse, those are amazing! I especially like the Rocket one, it looks so dynamic. I always found it difficult to draw action scenes like that.

As far as an "original" character goes, I was doodling a nondescript knight of sorts. Then I added a spider in the background.

Perhaps the spider is his minion? Or he's there to suck the sweet, sweet juices from his brain? We may never know.

So after a suggestion from Orange, I went out and bought a couple rolls of wire and an assortment of beads, and tried my hand at a wire-wrapping ring tutorial I found. They didn't take that long to make, about half an hour for the first one and 20 minutes for the second.

They're actually quite nice for a first attempt, although the spirals still look a bit wonky to me, and they're slightly too small for my finger (I used a marker lid to size them, which obviously isn't exact). My sister asked me to make one for her, though, and she's picky with jewellery. The stones are imperial blue jasper and jasper chips.

I was checking my stash of links and found that a link to a fanart I really liked was broken. It was of Gatsby when we first see him in The Great Gatsby, starring Elsa as Gatsby. You've probably seen the original in GIF form. I can't find it anywhere anymore and I decided the world is not complete without Gatsby Elsa.

Was only going to be a lineart, but I messed up the lines horribly at one point (the body proportions were off) and decided to cover it up with ink. I ended up having to make an actual background so the blot wouldn't look out of place. =P Haven't drawn fireworks since elementary, and making them using negative space was quite a challenge. Shaded Elsa with pencil, but the rest is ballpoint, as usual. Looking back, I wish I spent more time getting the expression down.

I drew another dragon. This one's a wyvern, but a new take on it, an idea I had today.
