I used to go to figure drawing every week, but really fell of when my mom got seriously ill. Last night was my first night attempting it in over a year, and I think it came out okay.

This is an old drawing I found. It was my first time using charcoal and I was trying to recreate a piece of Blizzard concept art

One day, the internet connection was out and I was bored. "What did I do when I had a computer without internet access as a kid?", I asked myself. "Draw raindom shit in Paint.", I answered myself. And so, lo and behold, I went to work. It's been my lock screen background on my laptop ever since.

Lemon is running a roleplaying game he made up, set in a world he invented, with me and Lads and Kate, and because he's the awesomest GM the world is stuffed with dragons of all different kinds and the dragon god of lightning, Dundah, sort of looks out for my character. In our latest session we heard about stormdrakes, great winged dragons nine feet high when standing on all four feet, which are the descendants or creations of Dundah. How did we find out about them? Because I have one as an animal companion. So I drew him:

Edit: fixed picture, since imgsafe seems to have gone down. Also I did an improved version since drawing that:

He's just a baby. I did my best to draw him lifesize, but the scanner embiggened the picture and on a screen it looks a lot better in the larger size.

Since drawing is one of my few redeeming creative qualities, I figured it would be cool if I shared one of my favorite pieces here. ;w;

It's done completely with a single $.25 ballpoint pen, including the initial sketches.

Well Sprite recommended I should post it here, dunno why on the Art thread, but okay.

New monstrosities for new monsters
For new fears to fear
With new names to name
Yet all their faces all the same.
So much I hate of me myself
Of much I'd bear to bear ill health.
The cold, the metal, the fire, the gun
Of no real warmth of loving fun.
The blankets cold the lighting dim
And curling frozen, frozen him.
Want not I, what I wish none
Yet all the warmth, the heat, the gun.
No more the faces for face no more
In cold of ice can I adore.

This picture belongs to Lemon, but he's graciously allowed me to share it with you guys. We made a bet and I lost, so I owed him a dragon drawing, which I finally finished:
