Okay, portal is disabled now. It's deprecated and broken, so there's really no reason to try and fix it. Portal.php now redirects to the home page.

A small but significant update: if you are logged in (and a registered user), you may notice a button on your navbar labeled "Chat Room". This button will link you to our IRC channel, using Mibbit. I noticed that there was a divide between the users that post on the forum and the users that chat in IRC, and this button is intended to help bridge that divide.
