What, are biscuits not biscuits in America? I'm in Ireland and biscuits are damn well biscuits here!

"Biscuits" in Europe are called "cookies" here in the USA; biscuits here are something else entirely:

We call biscuits "cookies" here in the States. Biscuits to us are those fluffy, buttermilk things that you put gravy on, and what have you. I don't know what you call them there. They're bread things.

EDIT: Beaten by jbob!

Indeed, as jbobsully said, I think a biscuit is...as far as I'm aware, more similar to a scone-y sort of thing in America? Biscuits are biscuits here in Aus too, Gany. And thanks for the grats!

EDIT: Clint, I've never seen them here, not an exact match I don't think...

Ahhhh, I see! I was having a biscuit identity crisis there for a minute, phew! It's a sure sign I've been procrastinating too much :)

Well, let's see, I'm balancing three college papers (English, Asian Civ., Psych) at the moment, I'm trying to learn two languages (ASL and Japanese), and I've been meaning to write an Emi X OC Katawa Shoujo fanfiction but have never really gotten around to it.

Speaking of college, my English professor is going to nominate my last paper for an award, so......yeah.

If it's any consolation, we're gonna have thunderstorms and it'll be down into the 50s by Wed/Thur. But Sunday looks to be perfect weather for fishing or otherwise getting towards the water.

I'm hoping that this storm that's messed up Chicago and the rest of that region swings well north of us, though.

Man. Congratulations to like, everyone. Gash, I totally want to read that, and JuggularNotch I'll go to the youtube channel as soon as I can put on the sound without waking my husband up.

I took a walk for like, 2 miles today. Which doesn't sound like much but this time last year I was basically bed-locked so that's a brighter side for me!

I got my top wisdom teeth out about a week ago (the bottom ones didn't grow in, apparently), and my mouth is healing nicely (they came in absurdly late; I thought for sure I had missed out on that experience when I turned 20). I also recently wrote a few poems and submitted them to a contest my school is having (the best 3 entries win $50-100).

I'm taking a cake decorating class and my first ever cake decorated didn't turn out too terribly! You can even almost tell that it's the Autism awareness puzzle heart. I'm also trying to worry less about, well, everything and that seems to be going okay too so hooray!

Oh and if anyone's interested, here's a picture of the cake.

And congrats to everyone on their awesome news! I don't think I could ever write a book or do all the complex equations necessary for spacy things

When I bought my first Bitcoin, years ago, it was worth $1. Today, one Bitcoin is worth $236. I made tens of thousands of dollars out of nothing, I'm extraordinarily lucky. Don't rob me.

I also started a forum that has really nice members. The last forum I started had too many jerks.
