Saturday was a trip to the bass pro shop aquarium in Springfield, MO.
an excuse to get out and a halfway point for the sister in law of the husband who is gone.
she doesn't want to spend time with them in their NW Arkansas home anymore. and from her description of it, I don't blame her.
the cost for the four of us (3 adults-he being 13-and one child was only $80 something). I don't even want to think about the four adults and one child they had to pay for. oh, yeah. it was all half price for people from certain counties around the area.
it was a time.
dear sweet jesus.
normally, crowds just freak me right the F out. but she's been having me read her "the Dude and the Zen master" before bed, and I took it a hell of a lot better than I would have before.
lean into it, dude.
ask yourself, "why does this bother me?"
all of that.
good dear god, you couldn't swing a dead cat without running into every fucking body else.
but
we made it through.
we made it home
we lived through it.
we aren't going back there
