And while I'm here, welcome Kraken. Have you read Jack Vance's novella "The Kragen"?

I'm now regretting selling myself short in the ketchup chugging category; $690 for a bottle. I'm not going to suffer in agony over hunt's for cheap.

Thanks! And no, I haven't, but I'll be sure to add it to my list if it's Kraken related.

Keep in mind that I don't like ketchup, even on French fries.

It is, but you might have an easier time finding the book he developed it into: Blue World. Both are somewhat hard to find in libraries, though I have both in dead tree form (my father has a pulp version of Blue World I stole from him), while "The Kragen" is in Robert Silverberg's collection of the best short SF of 1965, which I bought. It's a science fiction book, so Vance's kragen is different from mythological kraken, but is still a giant, tentacled sea monster.

My dear, this is from back in 2013 but I think it's the single best thing we have on the site. Check it out.

viewtopic.php?f=24&t=111&p=26651&hilit=teenage+mutant+ninja#p26651

But yes, according to the polls, TCS is Donnie territory.

But we will fight to the end.

Oh man, how did I forget about Van Gogh? I take back what I said about Raphael. The Drunken Turtle Hobo is the obvious choice.

Settle this nonsensical argument already.

Boxer-Dog-Lady doesn't seem very keen with the idea so you'll have to find someone else Jamish, I'm sorry about that.

It's okay, Jim, it was a hypothetical anyway, I'm not gonna be paying anyone to chug Hunt's ketchup anytime soon!

JamishT was a heck of a guy,
With a devilish twinkle in his eye.
With his hand-picked flowers,
And his feel-good powers,
He made all the girls blush and sigh.
