I should get back to my latest attempt (since it crashed and wiped my progress just when I was doing really well) to 100% complete that. (Well, 100% on Normal at least. I dunno if I have it in me to try on Hard other than maybe for a single victory to get that one achievement.)

Oh no, you had a wipe too? Happened to my husband several times. He still played through it on Hard several times and holds some ridiculous records, whereas I have yet to finish a single game...

I figured out how to back up my progress now, though.

Now that's good. Still a shame one has to come up with these workarounds.

Back to topic:
I've just found an amigurumi figure of a Scandinavia and the World character (Denmark) who has been lacking a face for several years now...

Chrono Trigger doesn't take a lot to beat. You should have a lot of Megalixirs by that point, something like 10 to 15 of them. Just use them. Bring Crono, Robo, and Marle and you'll be fine. Spam Luminaire. The rewards are the ending, of course, but also New Game+, with a chance to beat the game at different points in the plot and see alternate endings.

Portal 2 also isn't that hard to beat. You just have to hit the 3 things in the time limit using your splat and jumpy powers, and then try something really crazy when the opportunity presents itself.

Don't feel too bad about not finishing things. Not finishing things is my family's way of life.

My Dad never finished the basement he was digging out and building all those years. He never finished the workshop he half-built in 1989, but it's mostly still there, still useable in its limited form. He never got a couple of his businesses off the ground.

You have to try things out. You have to keep up some kind of hope. Like some of you have mentioned, I also haven't finished my degree - yet - but I hold on to the possibility that I will someday.

I might not. It's alright. I just have to keep trying. I haven't finished my books. I haven't said everything I ever wanted to say to people who were important to me while they were alive. I haven't crushed my enemies, seen them driven before me, or heard the lamentation of their women. Maybe I never will.

If you lived to be a thousand and the world didn't change, you'd still never get to do it all. You have to make peace with that; you're only human, you're only one human. No one can ask you to be anything more.

# 1 Stepping up terrifically and taking responsibility for a terrific lack of stepping up and taking responsibility
#2 Going back through old note-books to figure out what the hell I was thinking during Escape games.
#3 Continuing some semblance of GM status in Escape games.
#4 Finally releasing the titanium-clawed cats and various weirdos I've kept hostage back into the wild.
#5 Writing an in-joke on some Internet forum, where, like, two people will get the joke.
#6 Finishing something
#7 like sex with Bert's mom.
#8 Apologizing to Bert, because I don't even know how that became a meme back in the day.

It's always in the last place you look for it, unless you're the kind of person who keeps looking for it after you've found it.

JamishT was a heck of a guy,
With a devilish twinkle in his eye.
With his hand-picked flowers,
And his feel-good powers,
He made all the girls blush and sigh.

I actually did finish Chrono Trigger after a couple of false starts, but I could never manage to finish Final Fantasy 8 for some reason. Usually I get distracted by something else past the first half of disk 2 when most of the side quests become available, my last playthrough of the PC version ended with my party all prepped and ready to fight Omega Weapon ( and 100% completed up to that point ) so I had literally only 2 boss fights left to do in the entire game.
There seems to be a running theme of me starting on the side quests and then switching to an entirely different game before I actually manage to return to the main story.
Out of all my Morrowind characters, exactly one actually finished the main quest.
