XD I have definitely considered talking to someone about making Isis a companion animal. My cats really do have a hugely calming effect on me, to the point where if I live without them there is a noticeable difference in my personality. I lived without pets for a year once and that was not easy to do. I can definitely see the value in a companion pet for people with depression and PTSD.

That said, there is really no excuse at all for taking an animal into a public place and allowing it to make a mess or pose a threat to someone.

In Kate's world, you don't join ISIS; ISIS joins you! ...on errands and stuff. I don't know.

JamishT was a heck of a guy,
With a devilish twinkle in his eye.
With his hand-picked flowers,
And his feel-good powers,
He made all the girls blush and sigh.

Is Companion Animal another word for Emotional Support Animal these days? It always used to just be a synonym of pet.

It is here, anyone whose doctor will write a letter saying "needs pet" has a Companion Animal; there's no practical side to it. I do know good shrinks consider it very effective, although I can recall when that was equally true without the letter or a name for it.

People who are abusive and neglectful (in whatever the hell directions, I've never seen anyone drive with a dog on their lap in my life, had to wonder how you even see that), are not those receiving therapeutic benefits, probably from any sources they may be using, because irresponsible jerk and having mental health concerns are not mutually exclusive ideas.

Edit: wrongsville, skooma, it does get you in places that don't take pets and waives pet fees

I'm usually more upset at people being treated like animals.
