That's tough . . . Skyrim always makes for good listening. I haven't run into a single social situation that couldn't be improved with a Norse chant of Dovakhin.
Pretty sure it counts as a war crime if you don't embed a video of that song after you mention it. I'll spare you a prison sentence
this time, but only because you have decent taste in music. I also like Malukah's cover for when you have to be a bit more subtle and can't punch dragons (or random bystanders) in the face with your voice for whatever reason. Not that there should be anything to ever stop you from doing that.
As for myself, discounting the ones that haven't already been mentioned, I submit...Dead Island.
...coupled with the intro from Up, because I don't think you people spend enough time bawling your eyes out.
It goes without saying that pretty much any Final Fantasy game has at least one awesome OST but
damn if Crisis Core had several million of them. I'll just post one though, since I think I might accidentally cry myself to death if I listen to the entire soundtrack looking for the best one.
I also have a few faves from flash games that are pretty amazing that I'll put up depending on how people feel.
EDIT: Ok, I know it's not from a game
per se, but I don't know where else to slot this in, and it's too beautiful to let go to waste.
