Do you have a YouTube link for this? a live orchestra version of a Warcraft III track sounds epic.

Sorry, by that I just meant they used instruments and not electronics. But, to be clear, the track to which I'm referring are these ones:

This does remind me, the Warcraft III soundtrack is amazing. My favourite is probably the Night Elves suite

Blizzard has the best hold music. They play random tracks from all their games, it's really cool.

Not random, really. It's all WotLK track now. Which I'm fine with, I like the WotLK music. Including the Stormy Peaks stuff that they always play when you're on hold.

Riven has a pretty good soundtrack for Yoga and/or relaxation. I also used to play the Medal of Honor: Frontline soundtrack in the background while playing Axis and Allies.

Also, I am convinced that there are nightclubs in Europe that use some of the tracks from TimeSplitters 2 during raves.

The Adventures of Batman and Robin on the Sega Genesis has a pretty crazy techno soundtrack by Jesper Kyd, who would eventually compose the music for Assassin's Creed II.

Check out some of the highlights.

Most of the game has a deep, ambient base to it.

The 11:30-mark in this one is a heart-stopper.

And lastly, one of the greatest graphical achievements on the Genesis, the boss battle with the Mad Hatter.

I've always like the tune on the Star Light Zone in the first Sonic the Hedgehog game on the Megadrive. There's just something so ...... I dunno, optimistic and sweet about it, in spite of the fact it's set in a world riddled with killer robots and under constant threat of evil egg shaped scientists.

Yeah, yeah, those ones are good too, but my one's clearly the most romantic! You just know that's the Zone Sonic brings all his dates to.

It's a lovely track, and a contrast to the other level music tracks.

I always liked the music from Goldeneye. This song makes me feel cold.

My cousins used to rock out to the bridge in this song at the 0:30 mark.

While the game hasn't aged all that well, the music of Final Fantasy 7 can still give me goosebumps.

You know that theme was taken from the end credits to Blade Runner, right?

In fact, Scrap Brain Zone as a whole is based on the cityscapes of Los Angeles, 2019. Does this mean Sonic the Hedgehog is really a kid-friendly version of Blade Runner where animals are being replaced with replicants? You decide.

Also, while I imagine this is common knowledge, both the level and the music for "NeoTokyo" in TimeSplitters 2 is taken from Blade Runner as well.

If I knew we would be discussing GoldenEye 007, I would have opened a separate thread.

I think the soundtrack in that game is a masterpiece, and I could probably fill a website with my thoughts about every track used in the game.
