Battlerite just came out of early access, and has become my jam right now. It's a game that takes the best part of games like League of Legends (team fighting) and strips out everything else. Either 2v2 or 3v3 matches focus on best-of-5 elimination rounds, with each round only lasting 2 mins at most.
I could go on about how good the WASD controls feel in an isometric game, or how every fight feels winnable even if you're 1v2, or how much I like the character variance and skills, or how well it fits into my schedule only needing one friend to play 10 mins at a time each night. But I shouldn't have to, because it's free and you can try it for yourself in short order.
If you've liked MOBAs in the past but burned out on their length or how rare it is to get to the best part (a truly balanced team fight), give it a try: https://www.battlerite.com/. If you've never liked MOBAs but enjoy fighting/dueling games, also give it a shot. Since there's no leveling, fights are fair and you won't get faced like a first time DOTA player. It's good!
