In Flames - Dreamscape

Somehow, the names of the files on my computer for this album are all mixed up, so I'm listening to each song and trying to figure out what they are.

(Presumably, the only way to stop a bad guy with a transgender-friendly privacy law is a good guy with a transgender-friendly privacy law, and thus transgender-friendly privacy law rights need to be enshrined in the Constitution as well)

Sufjan Stevens - Carrie & Lowell Live

I don't often listen to live recordings but this is something else. First, the clarity of sound - it's amazing. Second, my absolute love for this album (even though I was lukewarm on it at first, it has really clicked with me since). Third, the awesomeness of the live arrangements. There's nothing about this recording I don't love. I know I gotta see him live if I ever get the opportunity.

I am currently alternating between Johnette Napolitano's "Suicide Note" and 萧萧's version of 平风之路 that features 月漓.

Sorry, can't youtube here (no VPN), so you'll just have to cut-paste google.

It's always in the last place you look for it, unless you're the kind of person who keeps looking for it after you've found it.

I recently put Elizabeth Cook's Welder album in again, and was reminded of my favorite song: "Heroin Addict Sister."

It's sentimental and arguably schmaltzy, but my father had a heroin addict brother who OD'ed when I was in grade school. And this song reminds me that no matter how bad your life story is, it's not all hopeless until it's completely over.

Praise Jesus, especially when it's sunny outside because Jesus would totally be cool with you praising while you get a nice tan.
