I don't hate protest songs; I love protest songs. Even the "bad" protest songs I shared I enjoy listening too, I just kind of cringe a bit at parts of them. But since you're kvetching, here's a post with only good protest songs. *harumph* I hope you're happy.

Eve of Destruction. Most famously performed by Barry McGuire, but the version I'm most familiar with is the 1997 cover by the Screaming Jets:

It's kind of weird how little has changed since it was written in 1964.
