Here's a different version of one I posted on the first page... I'm not sure how I feel about this:

And compare John Denver's version of "Leaving on a Jet Plane" (originally recorded in 1966):

to Peter, Paul & Mary's version (recorded in 1967):
(I prefer this one, but I like them both.)

Here's another cover of that song that I just found out existed and I don't like (1967, Spanky and Our Gang):

Beatles - Love You To

Jefferson Airplane - White Rabbit

Fox + Sui - Summer Storm

The last one isn't from the 60's, it's just something I came across and felt it had the same vibe as the others.

I was saving the first song here until I thought of another one to post with it, and now (almost a year later, apparently) I have. I don't think these have been mentioned, but I'm too lazy to make sure.

"Different Drum" - The Stone Poneys

"Dream a Little Dream of Me" - Mama Cass (of The Mamas & the Papas, shortly after they broke up)
