What? No Runaways? No Sleater Kinney? No Sarcastic Response? What's wrong with the youth today? Get off my lawn!

I don't know who any of those are.
Most of the female artists I listen to are solo artists. My favorite group with a female lead singer is Steeleye Span (Maddie Prior).

Flyleaf was instrumental in the formation of my musical tastes, so even though Lacey Strumm left the band, I voted for them.

JamishT was a heck of a guy,
With a devilish twinkle in his eye.
With his hand-picked flowers,
And his feel-good powers,
He made all the girls blush and sigh.

Never heard of them. My musical taste tend to lend towards rock and metal.

Blondie, Daughter and Wolf Alice all get my vote.

Possibly Garbage, too.

Both of those are classic rock bands.

I'm sure at least you know Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide"...

...and Heart's "Crazy on You."

I'd probably say Blondie, but I also always liked Siouxsie and the Banshees.

Am I that old? The only one of those groups I've even heard of is Evanescence.

My answer is Heart, easily.

Taking a look at their full body of work and not just the hits. I'd vote for Siouxsie. Her music always succeeds in making me happy. Except for that one time when I discovered that the employees at Pizza Slut had blown the woofers on the stereo making Siouxsie and my closing the restaurant that night rather unbearable.

Sorry, never heard of them. I was never really a fan of classic music, in any case. The ONLY reason I included The Beatles in the male version was just because it was expected, despite the fact that I dislike The Beatles, and think their music is not very good. Some classic music is good.
