This movie scared me to death as a kid! I'd love to see it again though.

Since it's october, why not Piranha or cannibal girls?

Because they're here..........and they're hungry

This is a must ladies and gents. I don't care if it is a movie night or not, watch it anyways. This movie is so awesome and on youtube. Its sorta like if Heavy Metal was made by french surrealists or something.
From its wiki-
An English version was directed by Harvey Weinstein and produced by Bob Weinstein, while noted science-fiction author Isaac Asimov made the revision of the translation.

Among the actors providing the voices for the English-language version were Glenn Close, Jennifer Grey, Terrence Mann, Penn and Teller, John Shea, Bridget Fonda, David Johansen, Earle Hyman, Earl Hammond and Christopher Plummer.

Awesome, I know. Also one of the first movies that was supposed to be in "3D" with those red/blue old school glasses. Unfortunately, I think that print didn't made it to completion.

There is also animated nudity. Not sure if that is banned or encouraged though...

I feel like movie night could use more Star Trek. Or Star Wars. Or Westerns. Any of those.

I apologise for necro-posting, but has A Star Is Born (1937) already been suggested and/or watched? Or The Little Shop of Horrors (1960)? I like both films, and they're in public domain. I can host either, no problem.
