So, there's this cool new Netflix crime drama out called Mindhunter, which takes place in the late 1970s and centers around the advent of criminal profiling as a tactic in investigations of serial killers within the FBI and stars Johnathan Groff and Holt McCallany. Basically, the set up is that the two main characters go around interviewing serial killers and solving the occasional murder in between their actual job of teaching FBI tactics to local law enforcement. The serial killers they interview are real people, one of those people being Edmund Kemper, The Coed Killer, played here by Cameron Britton. His portrayal as Kemper is really great, being equally unnerving and captivating. Like, he comes off as charming, eloquent, and amicable, and then goes into detail about having sex with a severed head. Definitely recommended. The show that is, not the literal skullfucking.
