Hunting Octopuses (by letting them hunt you)
In the Gilbert islands a traditional method of hunting the local giant-ass octopuses was for two men, armed with nothing more than their teeth (and massive balls), to go down to the reefs where the terrifying tentacled demon fish anchored themselves in crevices. One man would dive in and act as bait by swimming in front of the crevice. When the octopus seized him the second man would dive in, grab the first man and pull him away from the crevice, thereby tearing the octopus from its shelter. The first man would then swim to the surface, float on his back and allow the second man to kill the octopus by biting its exposed head.
